[edit] Introduction
When you become lvl 20, you will be able to act a job. You are free to choose wich job you want, or no job at all. When you registered for a job, you can't act another job. If you changed your mind and decide you want another job, you will have to leave your current job and recieve a penalty of 7 days. After that you can join another job.
- Trader: Buy goods in one city, and attempt to transport them successfully to another city to make profit. You will spawn npc thiefs on your way. You earn money when you arrive in the next town and you sell your goods.
- Hunter: Protect the trader's transport to make sure the trade is successful. You earn money when you kill a thief or when the trader sells his goods.
- Thief: Try to kill the hunter(s) (if present), and rob the trader to sell the goods in thief town to earn money. You will spawn npc hunters on your way.
[edit] How to register for a job
- Go to the job assosiate of the job you want to join. The Hunter and Merchant Assosiate are located on the map, the Thief Assosiate is in thief town. You can get here by searching for the thief town teleport in Jangan and Constantinople
- Click Join hunter/merchant/thief guild. You are now registered in a job.
- Create a Job Alias. This is the name that will be shown when you are acting a job.
- Buy a job suit. There are differences between Chinese and Europe job suits, and str or int suits. Choose the one you prefer.
- You can now put on your job suit.
Note: If you leave your job guild, you have to wait 7 days before you can join an other job guild.
Note 2: You can't put on a job suit while being in a party. When you have it on, you can join a new party. And you can't be in a party with players without job suit on, or players acting the opposite job.

[edit] Stars
- When a trader buys goods at the Specialty Trader, the trade will be ranked in stars. You can see what your star lvl is in your transport, below your goods. The more goods you buy, the higher your star level will be.
- Npc thiefs: When you go outside the safe zone town, npc thiefs will spawn around you. Npc thiefs appear as normal mobs close to your lvl. These special mobs can only attack traders or hunters. The amount of these spawns will depend on your star lvl. For example, a 5 star trade will spawn a lot more npc thiefs than a 1 star trade.
- 1 star protection: If a trader is lower than lvl 40 and does a 1 star trade, player thiefs can not attack him. Npc thiefs that spawn around will still attack you. This is called the 1 star protection. However, when you are higher than lvl 40, you will not be protected even when you do a 1 star trade. Also, when you do a 2 star trade or higher at any lvl, you will not be protected either.
- Npc hunters: When a thief steals goods and has them in his transport, npc hunters will spawn. These hunters work exactly the same as npc thiefs. Npc hunters can only attack player thiefs.
[edit] Important
[edit] Make sure you have everything you need
- A hunter will not need anything else than his suit.
- A trader will need a transport and transport potions, these are recovery kits and bad status removers. You can find these at the stable.
- A thief will also need a transport and transport potions. A thief also needs a Bandit Den Return Scroll, you can buy these at the Thief Assosiate. This scroll will take you back to thief town when you stole goods, so it is very important you have these.
- If you are a trader you should get 1 to 3 hunters that are higher lvl than you. So you dont have to worry about thiefs and mobs. If you do a 1star trade and you are sure you can handle the thiefs and mobs, you can also do it without hunters, but it is still recommended to hire some. Many hunters on the same trade wont share job xp or profits so everyone will get good earnings.
[edit] Plan your trading route and know each ones role
- As will be mentioned later on in this post, there are many trade routes and new trading centers like Bandits Mountain Stronghold, Black Robber Den and Niya Remains wich will require a special quest being accomplished. These quests can be aquired by talking to the special trader npc in those places while wearing your trader suit.
- Traders should get the Map on and always look at their path, they should also never stop... The point here is to use those green potions to go forward, most of the NPC thiefs will be running after u instead of dealing damage.
- Hunters on their part should always be prepared to combat, many pills, hp/mp pots and buff between pops. The first goal of the Hunters is to protect the traders transport. That is to say, they should focus on attacking npc thiefs going after the trader. They should be higher lvl than the trader so they dont have to worry about getting hit by Npc Thiefs. Many skills might be usefull to be efficient in doing this. Skills like Nukes, Snake sword dance, instant casts, Knock back with glavie or any skill that can hit 3-5 thiefs at once are very helpfull in getting those 15-30 thiefs on u instead of the traders transport.
- In the case u can get 3 hunters, one of them can scout the ferries and bridges before u get to those risky spots.
- If a thief activates his bandit den return scroll, he will not be able to pick up more goods. But he will still be able to move and attack. The bandit den return scroll takes about 5 minutes to get you to thief town, so in the meantime, you have to kill the npc hunters that spawn around you, and protect your transport. If your transport dies, you need to cancel the scroll and start over again.
[edit] Dont Panic
In the case u meet an obviously HIGHER lvl Thief human, here are some tips.
- Hunters first, should cast all their protection skills snow shield, castle shield, blessings etc... and jump on that high lvl. No matter he is lvl 80. Their objective at that point is to Knock-Down, Ice, Stun the thief to gain time ... u wont loose much exp when dying on a job...
- Traders, while their devoted mates are busy, should get aside quickly, out of sight, and DROP THEIR SPECIAL GOODS... in a bush, in a corner, away from that busy thief. The point in doing so is that special goods on the ground are not glowing, NPC thiefs poping on the contrary will execute shiny skills wich can be seen in the far distance... Another thing about droping goods is to save the fleeing traders life, wich cant fight 30 NPC thiefs 5 lvls over him alone
- When the Thief could not find the goods, killed ur hunters, and left the area, get ur goods back where u dropped em and shall the trade go on again
[edit] Selling of Bargain Priced Special Goods has begun
This is a message that is the most important for traders. There are Special Goods Trader NPCs at the Bandits Mountain Stronghold, Black Robber Den, and Niya Remains. When this message appears, traders can buy and sell special goods at those npcs. You will have to do a special quest at these npcs before you can buy or sell anything there. You have to wear your trader suit in order to do the quest. These npcs are especially handy for traders that are just not high lvl enough to get all the way to the next town, they can end their trade on those places and still earn money. But beware, when you trade with goods that are bought from the Special Goods Trader, you lose your 1 star protection, and you will spawn more npc thiefs than usually. This only lasts for 30 minutes though, so you better be fast. When the Selling of Bargain Priced Special Goods has ended, you can still sell your goods at those npcs, but you cant buy anything anymore.
Note: When you are buying your goods, and close the Specialty Trader window, you will not be able to buy any more goods for 10 minutes. So make sure you have a hunter to kill the npc thiefs that spawn while you are buying goods.
[edit] Bugs in the Triangular Conflict
- When joining a job guild, it says the required amount of gold is 10k. This is wrong, the actual required amount of gold is 100k.
- Any player (also players that aren't acting a job) can be hit by npc thiefs or hunters who use Lightning. Lightning has the special ability to hit multiple targets that stand close to eachother. Also npc thiefs or hunters that use europe skills that can hit multiple targets (like Earth Shock and Snow Wind) can hit other players. So always beware when you are close to a trader or thief.
