Stall
From Silkroad Addiction Wiki
Selling, or stalling, items in SilkRoad is done through street stalls. Every char can make one. You can make a stall anywhere on the map but it's best to make them in the city so you can participate in the Stall Network. Pricing can be very difficult at first but this article can give you some simple ways to price your items for completive selling as well as ways to get your stall noticed.

[edit] How To Make A Stall
- You can open a personal street stall by using the street stall icon shown in the action menu window (Hotkey "A"). You can also use /Stall.
- Set the name of your stall. By default it is "[YourName]'s Stall" and press enter.
- Take the item you wish to sell out of the inventory and put it in the stall window by dragging and dropping it.
- Set the price of the item and press the Register.
- Sales begin when you press the Open Stall button. You may choose at this time to join or not join the Stall Network.
- The owner of the stall can leave a sales message by using the "Stall Manager's Remarks". You can edit this after your stall is open or before.
- You can check who is presently looking at the stall, and converse with them in the chat at the bottom.
- You can add or change items or change the price of items you wish to sell by pressing the Modify Stall button. (Dont forget to reopen it after your changes!)
- As your items sell, the gold is deposited directly into your inventory.
- Items are sold "As Is" meaning if you stall a stack of 50 elements, you sell a stack of 50. They are not sold individually.
[edit] Stall Network
The street stall system helps players search and purchase items they wish to find more easily by connecting the seller with the purchase in a faster way. By using the system, players who wish to use street stalls can easily trade items without having to visit a street stall separately, since street stalls are gather in a single place.
[edit] Registering on the Stall Network

- Put the item you wish to sell on the street stall, and set the price.
- Press the [Open Stall] to activate the street stall.
- Press [Yes] when the window confirming registration on the stall network appears.
- You may only register for the Stall Network inside the city safe zones.
- A 1% fee of sales amount is deducted when an item is sold on the street stall network.

- You are only seeing stalls in the city you are in. If you want to see the items from other cities, you must teleport to them and search the Stall Network there.
[edit] Stall Network Event
When a player sells or purchase more than 100,000 gold-worth items over the street stall network, the street stall network event takes place. The event is held randomly, and the prize is sent to the inventory of the winning seller or purchaser. (The inventory slot must have free space to store the prize) The prize is the 'Merchant's Bless' item, and it gives you a 50% gold drop increase for 30 minutes while grinding. It can be put in your storage, but it cannot be sold or traded.
[edit] Stall Tricks and Tips
- Stall Placement - You will notice that stalls for different kinds of items will tend to group together. For example, on some servers most of the element and tablet stalls are located near the jewelry seller. It may be a good idea to look for these groups and join them so that people looking for what you are selling can find you easier. Other good places include near the stable, the blacksmith, the storage and the potion seller as these are all places where people may accidentally enter your stall or just notice the title and impulse buy.
- Naming your Stall - The default name isn't descriptive. Catch people's eye with a short description of what you are selling. If you are selling something special, make sure you put that in the title. If you want offers for your item, price it at 999,999,999 and put "Taking Offers" in your Stall Manager's text area. As long as you dont get DCed player comments in the chat will be saved in the stall chat.
- Pricing - This is a hard one. There are several different ways to price items.
- If the item is white with poor percentages you can double the NPC sell price. You can either begin to sell it at an NPC and cancel or when your stall is open, you can hover your mouse over the item in your inventory and see the NPC sell price at the bottom of the stat window.
- If the item has blues on it you can increase the price a bit.
- If the item has +'s of 3 or more, you can increase the price further.
- If the item is rare, such as a visible head or final tier of the cap, you can increase still again.
- If the item is SOS, SOM, SOSun, you should do some research and see what your current market is selling similar items for.
- Gear that is cap gear right before the cap raises is worthless once the cap goes up. It's value will plummet. If you can sell that 86 +5 full blued hand before the cap raises, do it if you believe the cap raise to be soon.
- Not ALL SOS is worth something. Sometimes, third tier items are as good, if not better so price them accordingly.
- Look at the tablets that are for sale. Strength tabs are always the most expensive. The elements that are needed to make them are also the highest price as well as elements that are needed to make multiple stones such as 4 and 6 degree elements. Demand means higher prices.
- Stall Avatar - An item mall item that adds a cute monster detail to your stall making it more visible. They are cheap and are a lifetime purchase, meaning, if you buy it once, you can use it over and over forever. You choose to use it or not when you open your stall and it comes in four types; Mangyang, One Eyed Ghost, Earth Ghost and Combination (All three monsters together).
