Your donations help keep SRA up to date with the latest in forum technology. It pays for licensing fees, service subscriptions and keeps external advertisements to a minimum.
The Benefits of Donating
An SRA Donator is someone who, through the goodness of their heart, donates money to SilkRoad Addiction. This money provides us with licensing fees, service memberships at other sites (arcade game downloads for example) and an ad free site.
Who has donated?
A donator, upon making a $5 or greater donation, is given a nice blue user name. You can request that your name not be made blue if you like, but I think it really shows how much our users care about us.
What do you get?
Right now you get:
- a blue name
- a free silkroadaddiction.com email address (upon request)
- access to features not available to the public like enhanced guild/union site services
- use a youtube video as your avatar (userCP/Edit Profile)
- able to create tournaments in the Arcade
More services will be added as we go.
V.I.P. Status
V.I.P. Members are ones who have donated a large amount. Right now, they only have a red name to differentiate them from Donators, but that will change. This VIP status does not only indicate a donation of cash, but a donation of time and/or effort.
