Also known as COS pets, there are four types available;

• Ability pets
• Growth pets
• Vehicle pets
• Transport pets

In order to use, you must be at least level 5 to be able to summon a Growth or Ability pet, level 10 for a vehicle pet and 20 for a transport pet. You may have a growth pet simultaneously summoned with an ability pet, a vehicle and a transport, but you can't summon simultaneously more than one ability, growth, vehicle or transport pets. There is a trick to summoning two growth pets at once. You may summon two grey wolves if you summon them at exactly the same moment.

Of the growth pets, only the grey wolf can be bought in game by paying with gold and these may be bought and sold between chars. Some vehicle and transports as well. The rest can only be bought only through Item Mall (F10) by paying with silk. Pets that are bought through Item Mall can't be sold or transfered to another player. If you have more than one character in a server on the same account, you can transfer your item mall pets from one character to another by leaving the pet in your storage.

Some pets can be named. Once a pet's name is set, you can't change it later so be careful not to make any spelling errors when you give your pet a name. If you have a pet that can be sold (Grey Wolf), think twice before giving it a name. If there is a possibility that you may want to sell it later, it's recommended not to give your pet any name. Named pets are worth less than unnamed ones because when someone wants to buy a pet he will prefer an unnamed one in order to be able to chose a name for him.

[edit] Ability Pets

Ability pets can only be bought through the Item Mall (F10). All the ability pets are worth the same, do exactly the same things and have the same options. The only difference between them is their appearance. So when you choose an ability pet, you only have to decide which one you think is more cute and nothing else.

No one can attack your ability pet. Ability pets "die" only when their rental period expires. Rental period starts when you first summon the pet and lasts for 28 real-time days (so, the days you are offline also are counted). When the rental period expires, you can resurrect your pet with the "clock of reincarnation". It has about the half price than the pet summon scroll and you can find it in the Item Mall (Pet -> Pet Items).

Monkey	Price: 88 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: This scroll summons a Holy Animal, the monkey for 4 weeks. This monkey only lives high up in the Yumju area and as a holy animal joined to the form of a monkey, it is more intelligent than the humans. It is also very gentle as a result. It is also very emotional and if the friendship between the human and this animal is right, this animal will help the human in many ways to lend great assistance.

Squirrel	Price: 88 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: This scroll summons a Holy Animal, the squirrel for 4 weeks. Squirrel is a Holy Animal that only lives in the area where gods live, Yeomju. They look like squirrels but have intelligence higher than that of humans, and are very obedient. They are also very emotional, and give help to intimate humans with mysterious power.

Rabbit	Price: 88 Silk in Item Mall

Spotted Rabbit	Price: 88 Silk in Item Mall

	Description: Legendary pig that is said to be born only once every 600 years. The color of the hair shines brightly in gold. ( Life of pig can be extended after 4 weeks of use by clock of reincarnation item.)

Pink Pig	Price: 88 Silk in Item Mall

	Description: Close animal of human beings. Have been loved for a long time for their cuteness.

Sylph	Price: 88 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: A Sylph that came from the Western Europe. Being a Sylph, the size is small, height being only 1/4 of a normal human being. Occasionally magic is used, however very feeble. Sylph is very smart.

[edit] Growth Pets

The only growth pet that can currently be bought with gold is the Grey Wolf. All the other growth pets can be bought through the Item Mall (F10) and can't be sold or transfered to other players. Growth pets can fight by your side. They can do only physical damage and they level up by gaining XP from fights that take place as long as they are summoned (no matter if the monsters are killed by you or them). The EXP they get are the same as a player with a 0 gap would be gained by fighting the monsters.

Growth pets can be used in all PVP battles except cape. When a cape is equipped, the growth pet is automatically unsummoned. During battle a pet cannot be summoned or unsummoned unless you have not been hit for 20 seconds.

Growth pets can't be higher level than you. So when a pet is at the same level as you and it reaches the 99.99% of EXP needed for its level up, the pet gets no more EXP until you reach the next level.

As a result of a battle, they may lose HP, suffer by an abnormal state or even die. You can buy potions for them from the stable of each town. There are potions that recover their HP as well as potions that cure an abnormal state. There is no auto potion recovery for pets. When you have a growth pet summoned while training, watch it's HP carefully. HGP points (or Hunger Points) are lost at a regular rate over the time your pet is summoned. When they are at 30%, your pet will lose 1/2 of it's HP and dmg. Using HGP potions will instantly restore them.

White Wolf	Price: 130 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: Scroll that can summons white wolf. Wolf of Barbari tribe looks like leopard and strong as white tiger. Merchants who cross Silkroad capture and sell at a hiogh price.

Crow	Price: 130 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: Bird of a legend, also said to be the messenger of the sun, Three Footed Crow lives at the sun eating the flame of the sun.

Penguin	Price: 130 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: An animal that did not exist on the continent, it is assumed that Penguins came from the cold area in the south. Unlike their cute and small appearance, they are very aggressive. Rumors say that they suppressed the surrounding areas with brute force.

Bear	Price: 130 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: Bears used to be brutal, attacking humans and trade runs. However, some of them have been raised and trained by humans, making them an animal beneficial to humans.

[edit] Vehicle Pets

Vehicle pets are one time use pets you can buy both in Item Mall (F10) or at the Stable NPC in any town. When you equip a vehicle pet you will keep it until you dismount or it dies. You can use recovery Kits to renew it's life. In Game Vehicle pets have level restrictions and all are horses. Each horse has a different level requirement, speed, HP and appearance. Item Mall pets have a variety of types and have a level restriction of 5. All the item mall pets are the same, there is no difference between them in speed or HP, only appearance.

The Vehicle Pet interface looks the same at the other pets but they cannot be named and have no inventory space.

Ostrich	Price: 1 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: Bird that cannot fly, discovered by an adventurer. Although they cannot fly, they run as fast as an animal flying. The only drawback is that it is difficult to tame them due to their cowardice.. HP: dependent upon lvl Speed: 15m

Tiger	Price: 1 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: Four vicious monsters, known as the Four Evils, lived by the west areas of China during the times of God Yo. The fierce tiger is one of them. They show loyalty when a powerful emperor rules China, thus they are currently a help to the humans. However, nobody knows when they will change their mind. HP: dependent upon lvl Speed: 15m

Beetle	Price: 1 Silk in Item Mall
	Description: A Beetle that has been found in the desert area. It is diligent and very fast, making it a widely used movement method. HP: dependent upon lvl Speed: 15m

Red Horse	Price: 1,200 gold at Stable NPC
	Description: Fine horse dropping the red sweat like the blood in running. HP: 983 Speed: 9m

Shadow Horse	Price: 2,100 gold at Stable NPC
	Description: Fast horse as if the black shade passes by. HP: 2544 Speed: 9.5m

Dragon Horse	Price: 3,000 gold at Stable NPC
	Description: Swift horse Hangwu of the ancient China. There is a rumor that it is created from the dragon. HP: 5388 Speed: 10.5m

Ironclad Horse	Price: 3,600 gold at Stable NPC
	Description: Horse the Weaselryong brought up strongly by inserting the power of the Weaselryong. The human stole it and dressed the iron armor on it. HP: 8875 Speed: 12m

Transport pets are for jobbing. Traders and theives both use these. They are one time use only and can be healed and cured using pet pots and potions. They use the same interface as all the other pets with the inventory being the most crucial. There are three different types of transport pets: Item Mall, In Game and Fortress.

Elephant	Price: 2 silk in Item Mall
	Description: Elephant that lives in West Asia. White elephants are smaller in numbers than ordinary elephants, making them very rare. They are bigger and stronger than other elephants, which make them a good transport method. HP: dependent upon level Speed: 4.2m Slots: 105

Rhino	Price: 2 silk in Item Mall
	Description: Five horned rhinoceros. Stronger and has more stamina than ordinary rhinoceros, thus good for long trade runs. HP: dependent upon level Speed: 4.2m Slots: 105

Buffalo	Price: 2 silk in Item Mall

Most pets need various kinds of upkeep. Ability item mall pets need to be rented, growth pets need to be healed, etc. There is a wide variety of items available to assist you in keeping your pet alive and healthy while you have it.

Clock	Price: 48 silk in Item Mall
	Description: An item that extends the expiring summons of a silk pet for 4 weeks. It has the power like a broken watch or a watch shifted in reverse to affect time.

Growth Potion	Price: 2 silk in Item Mall
	Description: Item that increases the experience points gained by the growth pets. 100% additional experience points are gained for 30 minutes. Can be used simultaneously with Gold/Silver Time Service.

	Description: A mysterious grass that resurrects a growth pet that has died.

	Description: Partially recovers the pet's hunger. HGP Recovery: 10 HGP Points

[edit] Pet Interface

While all pets use the same interface, some only use parts of it. Only Ability and Transport Pets make use of the inventory so on the other pets, that tab is greyed out and unclickable.

There are several hotkeys you can use to make using your pet faster and more efficient. W (Z on azerty keyboard) toggles between the pets you have summoned at the time and selects them quickly. You can see which pets you have summoned by looking at the top right corner of your screen beside your minimap. There is shows the pet icon, HP and HGP if it is a Growth Pet. Your Growth Pet also has it's name, level, HP and HGP bar beneath your own on the upper left of the screen.

Aggressive	Hotkey: Page Down
	Description: Causes your pet to be agressive and to attack every one you target. If you change targets, he will continue to attack his present target until it is dead.

Defensive	Hotkey: Page Down
	Description: Causes your pet to be defensive and not attack, even when attacked.
	Used on: Growth Pets
Charm	Hotkey: A then R Click on icon
	Description: Causes your pet to perform a charming action
	Used on: Ability Pets and Growth Pets.
Terminate	Hotkey: none
	Description: Terminates your pet.
	Used on: Transport Pets and Vehicle Pets

[edit] Ability Pet Interface

To see your ability pet's information, press the Insert button while your pet is selected as the active one (if you have more than one pet summoned at the same time, press W to switch between them or click on the pet icon in the upper right beside your mini map). There are 3 tabs there:

Basic Info - Here you can see the time left until the rental period expires and see/give a name for your pet

Inventory - Here you can see all the items your pet is currently carrying. You can drag and drop items from pet's inventory to yours and vice-versa.

Setting - Here is where you set the functionality of your pet.

GRAB FUNCTION: When the ON option is selected the pet is active and it grabs items. When its inventory gets full and the pet tries to grab an item that has no place to be stored, the grab function automatically switches to NO and you get a blue message that informs you your pet inventory is full. After emptying some slots, you have to manually turn the grab function to ON again. (Notice: Pet's grab function may be turned to off although its inventory is not full. This will be happened once the pet is trying to get a quest item and your inventory is full, because gold and quest items the pet grabs are going to your inventory)

TARGET GRAB AUTHORITY: The pet can grab either only your drops or every available drop in a range. Choose between the two options, the one that you want. The ability pets can not steal drops from other players. It can only pick up your drops as assigned or drops that have been left idle and become publicly available. Setting it to pick your drops only means it will not pick up items that are publicly available or that you have discarded.

TARGET ITEM: Choose one or more of the item types that you want to be picked up by your pet.

[edit] Growth Pet Interface

You view this pet's information the same way, by pressing the Insert key while your pet is selected. You can use the Insert key to view a detailed look at your pet's stats. Shown on the Basic Info tab is your pet's HP, HGP and it's EXP. Here you can also name your pet. Just click on the Create button and type in a name. If it doesnt work, that means that the name you want has been taken. Keep trying! Some tricks to use are using an "L" instead of an "i" or adding a number like "R0VER" with a zero in place of an "O".

Transport Pets and Vehicle pets cannot be named and are terminated after each use. You can use the Information hot key (Insert) to view their HP and the Inventory of a Transport pet.
