- Elixirs have a chance of failing. The chance of failing goes up every time the + of the item is raised.
The highest plus ever succeeded on the International Silkroad is +13 (on a level 72 sword), appearantly there has been a +14 but there has been no proof for this. The highest plus ever on Korean Silkroad is +17 (on a level 76 Seal of Sun blade).
- If alchemy fails, it will reset the item's enhancement level to 0. There is also a chance that the weapon may break or recieve a reduced durability
- Upgrading protector (armor/garment/protector) or accessory does not give additional shines
- Lucky Powders can be purchased from the Grocery Shop in town to help raise the percentages of the Elixir succeeding
- Premium PLUS also helps raise the chances of the Elixir succeeding
- Lucky Stones improve the chances of the Elixir succeeding
- Shines are only affective on Weapons, They do not show on armor.
- Here are the Shines
1. A +3 on a weapon will have a silver shine on it. 2. A +5 on a weapon will have a purple shine on it. 3. A +7 on a weapon will have a golden shine to it. 4. A +9 on a weapon will have a blue shine to it. 5. This is unknown but rumors are that a new shine is at +14
