Central Asia formed on the basis of the Pamirs is an area where nomadic races make their living on the endless hills. Central Asia has Asia Minor In the west and the Mt. Roke in the south and borders on Takla Makan in the east, which shows the typical climate of wide and broad hills. Residents live along the meeting-points of rivers from the surrounding mountains and the desert, taking advantage of river or underground water to cultivate barley or vegetables and run an orchard. This area shows a mix of hills and desert, which is surrounded by mountains high enough to be covered with snow on the top. Samarkand, a city on the way to the SilkRoad, appears to mix Islamic and European cultures. Samarkand makes a lot of its wealth from trade using the SilkRoad. However, its ordinary residents couldn't get outside the city because of attack by the Huns and a bunch of monsters.

[edit] City

Samarkand - The largest trade city of the SilkRoad, located in the Central Asia. The green city, Samarkand, is located in a desert plain 725m above the sea. It is where Eurasian cultures are exchanged and is called the 'Heart of Central Asia'. A variety of races including Chinese, Islamic and European, not only the natives, live in the city. And accordingly it is cosmopolitan in mood. The major buildings of mosque and Medressa are decorated with glazed bricks. That's why Samarkand is called 'the green city'. It is so bright that merchants from the desert recognize that the green bright dome indicates they are close to Samarkand. Currently, Samarkand is suffering from the war against the restored Huns and is losing its past glory. However, numerous trading merchants still pass through Samarkand to head forward towards Europe or China.
