Answered: SRO Download Troubles?? Please Help!
I am downloading SRO from joymax, because you have to have it to play on ECSRO, at least this is what I've been told. If not correct me, but i've completed the download from peer 2 peer for the 1.80 version of SRO. Now when the next menu comes up where u press "Install" i
it says "Silkroad_GlobalOfiicial_Version1.80 .exe had to stop. If you have any programs running, they may be exited without being saved." Anybody know what the problem is?? I don't want to have to re-download the whole patch, it took like 4 or 5 hours! Please if any body knows the problem, help me out!?!

You don't need the full iSRO client to play ecSRO.


Just the files in the ecSRO section of this forum.

You don't need official SRO to play ECSRO.
But, if you still want have SRO too, then maybe just try to reboot your PC, might help.

Next time inform yourself from trusty sources, like ECSRO's official site and forums, or this forum.

You need an old version of SRO client, the one which had only Chinese characters at cap lvl 70.
The Joymax SRO now has European chars, Fortress Wars, Capture the Flag, 10th degree items and mobs, and so on, you don't need those for ECSRO.

If they don't read the sticky's then they probably don't read the homepage things either and vice versa, otherwise we wouldn't have all the threads about the hacking of ecsro either nor all the newcomers spamming this place.
